The Toronto Xiangqi Association welcomes anyone interested in Chinese chess, including beginners from inside and outside the Asian community.

Although our game originated in China, we are a very international club. Our members include native-born Canadians, as well as players from Hong Kong, Vietnam, Taiwan, China and the US.

We are very interested in helping non-Orientals, youths and kids who want to learn the game. We would particularly welcome experienced western chess players and we can provide personal assistance and study materials.
